Here are 5 Secrets to Learn Albanian Fast:

  1. Set a Goal - Decide how many minutes each day you are going to set aside for your Albanian studies.  Stick to this no matter what comes about.  Setting a goal to study each day will help you more quickly achieve your goal to learn Albanian fast.
  2. Set a Time - Know at what time you are going to study Albanian each day.  This is part of your goal setting but of equal importance to your success.  Your time might be first thing in the morning.  Or it might be on your evening commute home.  Whatever the time is, stick to it. 
  3. Take Notes - Buy yourself a notebook to use for your Albanian studies.  In your notebook take notes of the words or phrases that may be difficult for you to remember.  Spell them out.  Write their definition.  You’ll be surprised with how much this will help you in your goal to learn Albanian fast.
  4. Collect Albanian Articles and Pictures - Keep a folder and collect Albanian articles and pictures about the language and country you are learning about.  You might find an article about Albania.  Add those to your folder.  The internet is full of Albanian language newspapers.  Print off some articles to look over and see how many words you recognize.
  5. Have Fun! - There is no sense setting a goal to learn Albanian if you don’t have fun.  Use your new language skills to practice with native speakers.  And before you know it, you’ll be on your way to learning Albanian.  Good luck and have fun!

The ALBANIAN Language:
Albanian is the official language of Albania (about 3.3 million speakers). It is also spoken in Kosova, Montenegro and South Serbia (former Yugoslavia; about 3 million speakers); Macedonia (700,000), Greece (ca 140,000; Attica, Bocotia, South Euboea and on the island Salamis; Region of Epirus and Athens), Turkey (ca. 300,000) and Italy (ca 90,000). There are two main dialects of Albanian: Grege, which is spoken mainly in northern Albania, in the regions of former Yugoslavia that are poplulated by Albanians and in northern and western Macedonia and Toske, which is spoken in southern Albania, as well as in Greece and in Albanian languages isles in Sicily and Calabria. The Pimsleur course is a Toske Albanian which is the official language of Albania.
